How is your company responding to the ever-changing needs of the FM world?

Tork conducts ongoing research with FMs to identify real-world industry challenges — such as heightened hygiene expectations, meeting the demands of varied user traffic, cleaning staff shortages, and managing or reducing complaints—to develop tailored, efficient solutions that simplify decision-making and build lasting trust.

Washrooms account for 45 percent of building complaints, with quality and healthy environment being the  top  priority and 86 percent of employees regard cleanliness as the most important aspect of a good work environment.** Tork provides data-driven cleaning and hygiene products that are easy to use and prevent run outs, allowing FMs to optimize cleaning quality as well as operational efficiency. User-friendly systems and simple instructions also help new cleaning staff get up to speed quickly, ensuring consistent performance.

In addition to addressing immediate operational needs, the Tork brand’s high-capacity, low-maintenance dispensers and hygiene solutions address long-term sustainability goals. Our smart products and digital tools help reduce waste, streamline cleaning processes, and optimize resource usage.

Tork champions inclusive and sustainable hygiene and aims to eliminate visible and invisible barriers to hygiene so everyone can have comfortable access to public restrooms.

Research shows:***

  • Almost 1 in 3 Americans face barriers to washing their hands in public restrooms.

  • Around 1 in 5 Americans experience difficulties using soap or hand towel dispensers due to an injury, health condition, physical capability or as a parent with a child.

  • More than 1 in 3 Americans cite lack of cleanliness as a barrier to using workplace or public restrooms.

Advancing inclusive hygiene in public restrooms is good for people and for business. Poor public restroom experiences often impact business reputation and revenue, as stadium-goers may avoid purchasing food and drinks, and restaurant patrons may write poor reviews.

The Tork Coalition for Inclusive Hygiene will help raise awareness of the need to bring inclusive hygiene to public restrooms and develop resources that businesses and facilities can put into action in their restrooms.
