How is your company responding to the ever-changing needs of facility managers?

At Versteel, “Our Niche is You” is more than a tagline. It means listening first, understanding the challenge and creating solutions that help facility managers make their spaces more adaptable, useful and ready for what comes next. This customer-driven approach turns real-world needs into product innovation.

We design products that allow spaces to evolve. Table collections such as Kya offer mobile, folding, tilting, nesting and reconfigurable solutions that allow spaces to serve multiple purposes. Rollic was designed to move with people, using tables, ottomans, storage and partitions to instantly transform a space without tools or connections.

The Maker Project, celebrating 10 years of innovation, has evolved steadily, with additions reflecting needs uncovered through real-world use and the hands-on knowledge of Versteel’s metalworkers. These proven ideas give customers greater flexibility to use a collection across an entire project.

Ultimately, we help facility managers make better use of existing space and accommodate changing work and learning patterns without treating every change in need as a construction project.

Tell us about your corporate social responsibility and environmental, social and governance (ESG) efforts. How have these policies impacted your communities?

For Versteel, responsible manufacturing begins with making products that are built to last. We design for durability and continued relevance, helping clients extend the useful life of their furniture and reduce the need for replacement. Catwalk, for example, was designed to anticipate the growing potential of flexible spaces, going beyond functional design to provide a meaningful outlet for interaction and comfort.

Steel is the foundation of most of our products. Our American-produced steel contains up to 95% recycled content and can be recycled and the end of its useful life. We manufacture our products in Indiana, giving us greater control over quality and the ability to respond to customer needs. Sourcing steel and other materials regionally also supports reliable supply chains and reduces transportation impacts.

By investing in durable products, responsible materials, American manufacturing, and the communities where we operate, we’re building long-term value that endures beyond today’s needs.
