What inspired the creation of your “Anyone Can Help” initiative?

The “Anyone Can Help” initiative was born out of this belief and a commitment to empowering everyday people, including facility managers, to respond when sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) strikes.

While 96 percent of Americans say they feel a responsibility to call 911 if they encounter someone in a cardiac emergency, only 47 percent feel a responsibility to perform CPR or use an AED.* This gap in confidence inspired us to create tools and resources that help everyday heroes take action in critical moments.
