Johnny Lam
Johnny Lam is the CEO of Ecobay Technology Limited based in Hong Kong Science Park. He holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from Hong Kong Baptist University and an MBA from the University of Manchester. With more than 20 years of professional experience, including more than eight years at Cree Lighting, he has led his team in successfully managing LED lighting projects for commercial buildings and delivering cutting-edge disinfection solutions for hospitals and public facilities, including airports. In collaboration with Hong Kong Polytechnic University (HKPolyU), he has co-developed the first UAV system designed to assess the lighting performance of sports facilities in Hong Kong.
Roger Law
Roger Law is a volunteer researcher affiliated with The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (HKPolyU). He holds a BEng (1st Class Honours) in Building Services Engineering, an MSc (with Distinction) in Facility Management from HKPolyU, an LL.M. in Energy and Environmental Law from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and an MBA from a U.S.-based institution. As a committed young IFMA professional, he has earned the WELL Accredited Professional and Certified Energy Manager designations. Dr. Joseph Lai
Dr. Joseph Lai is a professor and associate head of the Department of Building Environment and Energy Engineering at HKPolyU. He is a registered professional engineer who practiced for over a decade in building services consultancy, property development and facility management before transitioning to academia. Serving as a co-editor of the journal "Facilities" and an associate editor of the journal "Smart and Sustainable Built Environment," Lai is also the Academic Advisor (Asia) of the IFMA Foundation. He has been honored with the Educator Award from IFMA.
